Lions win opener on new complex

The Lions opened the school's new baseball complex with an exciting 4-3 win over Norwood on Monday.

Zach Ritter pitched four innings and fanned six batters and was the winning pitcher and scored the winning run for the Lions in the bottom of the 7th inning. Ritter, a senior, smashed a double to the gap in left center, advanced to third on a passed ball and scored on an errant throw to third.

Steven Binder started for the Lions and recorded five strike outs in three innings.
