JV LADY LIONS VOLLEYBALL

The lady lions were defeated by Goshen Tuesday night 21-25 and 19-25.  They traveled to Felicity Thursday 9/13/12 battling against the Felicity Cardinals. Three great games were played though we came up short in the third game losing the match; 22-25, 25-17 and 11-25.

Lion Linksters Shake Stillmeadow in S.B.A.A.C. #3

The Lion Linksters continued to turn up the heat in the S.B.A.A.C. League Tournament by winning the third round by shooting a 161 to runner-up Amelia (176). Bethel (192), Western Brown (207), Goshen (218) and Norwood (227) rounded out the team scoring. Leading the Lions in their third round victory was Chris Mazzaro (38), Evan McKinley (39), Bryce Kroeger (41), Austin Wells (43), David Ohntrup (45), and Kyle Heidlage (46). The Lions travel to play C.N.E. at Cedar Trace on Monday before traveling to WhiteOak Golf Course on Wednesday to play in the S.B.A.A.C. #4. The Lions record now stands at 24-2 on the season.

Boys soccer defeats Batavia

The boys soccer team traveled to Batavia to face the Bulldogs on Thursday. New Richmond took a 1-0 lead after 9 minutes of play and followed with a second very shortly after. The 2-0 score was enough to secure the victory as the boys played one of there best games of the season from start to finish.

New Richmond High School Cross Country Teams Place 2nd, 3rd at Georgetown Invitational

The NRHS boys cross country team placed 3rd at the Georgetown Invitational, while the girls team took 2nd.

Both teams travel to Valley View Park (Milford) this Saturday to compete in the Milford Invitational.  Students need to be at the school at 7:10 am to board the bus.  Running times are;

Lion Linksters Continue Repeat Quest at Friendly Meadows in S.B.A.A.C.#2

The Lion Linksters continued their quest to defend their S.B.A.A.C. League title on Wednesday at Friendly Meadows by firing a scorching 150 to out distance themselves from second place Amelia (171). Bethel (180), Western Brown (191) and Goshen (207) rounded out the team scoring. Leading the Lions was Medalist Austin Wells who shot an even par 36 on the front nine at Friendly Meadows. Also scoring and playing well for the Lions were Bryce Kroeger (37), Evan McKinley (38), Chris Mazzaro (39), David Ohntrup (41) and Kyle Heidlage (47). The Lion Linksters tee it up tonight in the third round of the S.B.A.A.C. at Stillmeadow Country Club. We welcome all fans to come out and support your Lion Golf Team tonight. The match will tee off at 4:00 pm today. The Lions record now stands at 19-2 on the season.

Lion Linksters earn two "A's" in Tri-Match Victory

The Lion Linksters continue there fine play as they swept a tri-match victory against Amelia and Anderson at Stillmeadow Country Club. The Lions shot a sizzling 152 to out shoot Anderson (167) and Amelia (180). Leading the Lions in scoring was medalist Chris Mazzaro with an even par 35 on the back nine at Stillmeadow. Also scoring and playing well for the Lions were Austin Wells (37), Evan McKinley (39), Bryce Kroeger (41), Kyle Heidlage (45), and Henry Heidlage (45). The Lion Linksters play tonight at Friendly Meadows in the second round of the S.B.A.A.C. League Tournament.. They will also tee it up on Thursday at Stillmeadow Country Club in the third round of the S.B.A.A.C. League Tournament. The Lions record now stands at 14-2 on the season.

JV LADY LIONS VOLLEYBALL

Congratulations to the JV Lady Lions Volleyball team on their tough victory against Williamsburg last night, winning 2 out of the three games played; 25-11 and 27-25  The team battled in the third game sealing the win in overtime. Server of the match was Emily Leffler with 5 consecutive serves.  Players of the match were Emily Leffler with 7 kills Ashlee Lewis 5 kills, Michaela Nordyke with 2 kills. Ann Bishop with 10 assists and Jessica Nazareth with 5 assists.

The lady lions jv volleyball team defeated Cincinnati Country Day 25-16 and 27-25 and Mariemont 25-19 & 25-17 at Saturday's tri-match, 9/8/12.
