LIONS BASEBALL FAST OUT OF THE GATE

The New Richmond Lions Baseball program is off to a red hot beginning for the 2012 campaign. The Varsity Lions have run off 7 straight victories to start the season and are 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the SBC. The victims of this early season winning streak are: MVCA (2x), Norwood, CNE, Amelia, Bethel, and Mariemont. Western Brown visits the Lions for an important league contest on Wednesday, 4/4. Solid starting pitching, timely hitting, and stingy defense have all been present for the Lions' early success.

The JV Lions are 6-1, with all of their wins in a "mercy rule" fashion. The hot bats of the Lions' JV visit Western Brown on Wednesday, 4/4.

JV SOFTBALL

The JV Lady Lions have now played 5 games with 3 losses and 2 wins. Double-Header with McNick 8-9 and 14-9, Wyoming 51-4, CNE 7-17, and Bethel 11-13.
