Lion Linksters Topple the Trojans

The Lion Linksters continued their solid play as the knocked off Glen Este by the score of 168-175 at Stillmeadow Country Club on Wednesday evening. Leading the Lions in scoring was medalist Evan McKinley with a 38. Also scoring and playing well for the Lions were Chris Mazzaro (41), Austin Wells (44), Bryce Kroeger (45), Kyle Heidlage (46) and Erik Hermann (58). The Lions head to Whiteoak Golf Course on Tuesday for a tri-match with Western Brown and Goshen. The Lions record sits at 5-2 on the season.

JV LADY LIONS VOLLEYBALL

The Lady Lions defeated Norwood last night 25-4 and 25-12.  Jessica Nazareth served 14 consecutive serves followed by Michaela Nordyke with 9.  A great job was done by all.

Boys Soccer Post League Win

In their second league game of the season the boys defeated the Goshen warriors 5-1 Tuesay afternoon. It was a slow start for the Lions who took a 1-0 lead into the half. Just after the start of the second half the Warriors tied the game. After a quick adjustment to their formation the Lions scored 4 more times to finish the game. Next up is a trip to Norwood for a league match this Thursday.

Lion Linksters fly by Eagles

The Lion Linksters flew past the visiting Milford Eagles by the score of 159-182 at Stillmeadows Country Club. The Lions were led in scoring by medalist Chris Mazzaro with a one over par 36 on the back nine at Stillmeadows Country Club. Following close behind were Austin Wells and Evan McKinley with 40's. Also scoring and playing well for the Lions were Bryce Kroeger (43), David Ohntrup (49) and Kyle Heidlage (50). The Lions play host to Glen Este on Wednesday. The match starts at 3:30. The Lions record stands at 4-2 on the season

JV VOLLEYBALL TRI-MATCH

The jv volleyball team had their first tri-match of the season being defeated by CNE 23-25 and 19-25. The lady lions however came back defeating Ripley 25-12 and 25-15.
