Lions roar for 'Feed My Starving Children'

New Richmond Lions football coach Josh Stratton, five assistants, a parent volunteer and 25 players joined volunteerers at Miami Valley Christian Academy April 25 to help pack 25,568 means for the "Feed My Starving Children" program. The meals will feed 73 children, three times a day for an entire year.

"It was a great experience for our young men," said Stratton. "One player told me that it really made him feel good about himself to help others.  We feed 73 children for an entire year!   Not only that but it was a great bounding experience for our players and coaches.   Coach (Josh) Wade actually smiled.  Plus Malik Davis looks awesome in a hairnet.  I think he may wear one to prom."
