Wrestlers honored at SBAAC

The SBAAC and Div. II sectional champions New Richmond wrestlers and their coach Deron Shinkle walked away with the most trophies at Monday's Southern Buckeye Conference Winter Sports Banquet. Pictured with coach Shinkle are (from left) Brody Hooks, Austin Skaggs, JR Forsee, James White and Kyle Weeks who were honored as first team all-stars. Hooks, Skaggs, Forsee and Cody Gabelman were state qualifiers with Hooks recording a 5th place finish at 113 pounds and Forsee a seventh place finish at 285. White was an alternate to state at 170 pounds.
Gabelman was a second-team SBAAC all-star along with Robbie Lemar, Clay Loadman and Nathan Dixon.
