NR Boys Tennis Team Defeats Bethel 4-1 to Remain Undefeated in League

The NR boys tennis team defeated Bethel 4-1 this past Thursday to lead the league with a 6-0 record and 10-1 overall record on the season. Winners for the lions included; 1st Singles: James Martin (6-1, 7-6), 3rd Singles: Sam Anderson (6-4, 1-6, 6-4), 1st Doubles: Clint Lytle/Zach Manning (6-1, 6-4) and 2nd Doubles: Tyler Flood/Matt Rydzewski (6-4, 6-1). The lions have a busy schedule next week that includes CNE (Monday, Away), Amelia (Tuesday, Varsity Away, JV Home), Felicity (Wednesday, Away), Coach's Classic Tourney (Thurs./Sat. Varsity Away TBD), and Western Brown Invitational (Sat./Mon. JV Away).

NR Boys Tennis Team Defeats Amelia 3 - 2 to Take Conference Lead

The New Richmond boys tennis team defeated Amelia 3 - 2 this past Tuesday to remain undefeated in the conference and give Amelia its first loss in the conference and first loss overall. Winners for the lions included 3rd singles: Sam Anderson (6-4, 4-6, 6-4), 1st Doubles: Clint Lytle/Zach Manning (6-2, 6-0), and 2nd Doubles: Tyler Flood/ Matt Rydzewski (6-3, 6-1). With the win, the NR boys tennis team improved to 5 - 0 in the conference and 9 - 1 overall.

Baseball

We will play Edgewood in a varsity baseball game today at 5:00.

Girls Track Norwood Invite

JV LADY LIONS SOFTBALL

Congratulations to the Lady Lions on their win against Williamsburg last night 7-6. The lady lions fought hard defensively; outfield was controlled by Jessica Mowery and Rachel Zawacki with 2 great catches keeping the wildcats from scoring 3 runs. Hitters of the game were Pitcher Nikki Brittain with 2 triples and 4 rbi, Rachel Zawacki with 1 double and a single and Catcher, Bailey Deweese with a single and rbi. A great job was done by all.
