Scoring 19 in the 4th quarter including 9/14 from the free throw line helped seal the win. Everyone played hard and played as a team. Reno Frayne led the lady lions in scoring with 10 points and Lindsey Blankenship contributed 15 rebounds. High School Swimming

Alex Lewis holds up the letter of intent he signed with Cleveland State Monday. He was joined by his swim coaches Judy and Joe Middeler (left) and his mother, Becky Lewis.

It was a great day yesterday for the high school swim program. Alex Lewis signed a letter of intent to swim at Cleveland State University next year. This has been a goal for Alex since he started swimming in the 7th grade. We are very proud of all of his accomplishments in the past four years and look for great things in the future. His drive and goals have encouraged the other swimmers to step up their workouts to set higher goals for themselves. A wonderful comment that Alex made yesterday on what is one of your most memorable moments in your swimming career and he said, "when the 200 medley relay team made it to Districts last year". He is truly a great team player.

Lady Lions showing improvement

Sat. 12-5 @ CNE: The girls showed much improvement from Tuesday's effort but lost to CNE 39-30. The Rockets scored the first 8 points of the game and the girls played them even the rest of the way. The girls were limited by too many turnovers and poor free throw shooting. Next vs Bethel at home Thursday 12-10.
