NR Cross Country Teams Both Advance To Regionals

The New Richmond boys and girls cross country teams both advanced to the regional meet by placing in the top 3 this past weekend in the district meet held at Voice of America Park in West Chester.  The boys team came in 3rd, making it the fourth consecutive year that they have advanced to regionals as a team.  Top runners for the boys included;

Charlie Spicker (25th)
Zach Fields (28th)
Darik Page (31st)
Stone Oliver (33rd)
Luke Glenn (37th)
Silas O'Dell (39th)

The girls team finished 2nd in their race, receiving the honors of district runner-up and putting another record in New Richmond's history books. Top runners for the girls included;

Taryn Rupp (8th)
Paige Anderson (9th)
Shelbi Simpson (11th)
Grace Hauserman (12th)
Zoe Crabtree (16th)
Olivia Behymer (17th)

Both teams run in the regional meet next Saturday in Troy, OH.
