The New Richmond varsity volleyball team defeated the Lady G-men of Georgetown in an explosive match tonight.  After winning the first game the Lady Lions came up short in the second game.  The team then rallied to take the next two games.  Eleanor Wildey was powerful at the net with a possible record setting 21 kills in the match.  Setting her and the other attackers were Rachael Riffle and Jessica Nazareth who each had 13 assists.  Carrie Stapleton, Jessica Nazareth, and Eleanor Wildey all had double digit digs with 15, 14, and 13 respectively.  The ace club was lead by Carrie Stapleton with 5 aces in 17 serves.  Kandice Miller had 3 blocks to help stop the Lady G-men’s attacks.  The teams go on the road again on Thursday to play at Reading High School.
