NR SWIMMERS START STRONG

The Boys Swim Team had a strong showing against CCD, Greenfield McClain and Summit Country Day.  The scores were: NR - 106, Greenfield MCClain - 87, CCD - 81 & Summit - 9.  1st place finishers for NR were:  Cody Biehle - IM, Derek Gelter - 50 Free, Derek Gelter, Cody Biehle, Henry Bezold and Colt Reese -- 200 yd. Free Relay.  2nd place finishers were:  Colt Reese, Henry Bezold, Cole Bird & Derek Gelter -- 200yd. Medley Relay; Nick Flake -- 200 yd. IM; Cole Bird -- 100yd. Butterfly; & Colt Reese - 100yd. Backstroke.  Great job by all the swimmers.

The 2nd meet of the season was held last night at NR with a big win over CHCA and Winton Woods.  The score was NR - 57, CHCA - 26 and Winton Woods - 9.  1st place finishers were:  200yd. Medley Relay - Colt Reese, Henry Bezold, Cole Bird & Derek Gelter; 200 IM - Nick Flake; 50yd. Free - Colt Reese; 100yd. Free - Derek Gelter; 200yd. Free Relay - Derek Gelter, Cody Biehle, Henry Bezold, Colt Reese; 100yd. Back - Colt Reese; and 400yd. Free Relay - Austin Berger, Jesse Noble, Cole Bird, & Nick Flake.  2nd place finishers were:  50yd. Free - Derek Gelter; 500yd. Free - Jesse Noble; 100yd. Back - Austin Berger; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Noah David, Zachary Rolfes, James Mahan, and Coty Thompson.  Great job by all the swimmers.

The Girls Swim Team had a great meet last Wed. The score was NR - 123, CCD - 96, Greenfield McClain - 55 and Summit Country Day - 31.  1st place finishers were; 100 yd. Butterfly - Ann Bishop; 500yd. Free - Kara Burns; 200yd. Free Relay - Paige Anderson, Alicia Bailey, Ashlee Lewis, & Jessica Nazareth; & 100yd. Breaststroke - Kara Burns.  2nd place finishers were:  200 yd.Free Relay -  Emily Belmont, Michaela Nordyke, Alli Lutz, and Ashlee Lewis; 200yd. IM - Paige Anderson; 50 yd. Free - Jessica Nazareth; 100yd. Free - Jessica Nazareth; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Alicia Bailey, Emily Belmont, Paige Anderson, and Kara Burns.  Great job by all the swimmers.

Free Relay - Paige Anderson, Emily Belmont, Clair Burns, and Alicia Bailey.  2nd Place finishers were:  100yd. Breaststroke - Paige Anderson.  Great job by all the swimmers.
