Volley For The Cure fundraiser

The New Richmond High School volleyball team is holding its annual Volley For the Cure fundraiser to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.

The fundraiser includes the team's annual T-Shirt and Hoodie sale. T-shirts range in price from $6 to $8 depending on the size and hoodies from $18 to $20 depending on the size. You can download the order form on the link below.

In 2007 the New Richmond volleyball teams raised nearly $425 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In 2008 and 2009 this amount increased to $525 and $1025, respectively.

This year's Volley For The Cure game is on Monday, October 4th, against Bethel during homecoming week. Admission is only $1 for anyone wearing a Volley for the Cure shirt. All proceeds will be sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"The volleyball players would also like to invite everyone to the match so we can “Pack the Stands with Pink,” said Lions volleyball coach Carla Corbin. "The volleyball teams would like to make this a community wide event and raise even more money this year."
