Luau

I wanted to send out a special thank you to the Lions Sports Foundation for all the hard work and countless hours that they put into the June 19th Luau. I don't think anyone could imagine the number of hours that Lana Silcott and her officers put into this event. It was a very hot day which I'm sure kept some away but it was a great turn out for the first one ever. Thanks also to the coaches who came out to help, sent athletes or supported this event in any way. I know with vacations and summer sports it's tough to get away but many of our coaches worked hard for this event. Lana Silcott, Mary Binder, Dave Bosse and Martha Glenn, plus Lisa Dugger who added so much to our NRSF officers - job well done and I could never thank you enough. I know I can't even begin to name all who were there to help and not leave someone out, but you know who you are and you know how much we appreciate all your work. Special thanks to Chris Sheldon who was on the PA the entire day, and to Deron Shinkle and Kathy Scholz who showed up at 9:00 am and left at 11:00 pm. You guys went beyond the call of duty and I truly appreciate it. Thanks to all and have a great rest of the summer.
