Lady Lions Win in SBAAC Tournament

The Lady Lions Varsity Girls Basketball team came out victorious in the 3rd place game in the inaugural SBAAC Tournament defeating CNE 45-30. A duo of freshmen led NR on the offensive end with Maren Hance scoring a game-high 11 points and Cidney Adams scoring 9, including 2 clutch treys. Josie Buckingham scored 10 points while dominating on the defensive end, grabbing 13 rebounds and blocking 7 shots. After a slow start the Lady Lions shut out the rockets in the 2nd quarter, taking a double-digit lead into half-time. After an uneventful 2nd half the lady lions cruised to an easy win.
