GREAT FINISH FOR NR SWIM TEAM

     This past week the New Richmond High School swim team had a great week.  On Tuesday night they swam Glen Este's swim team and both boys and girls teams won.  It was the last home swim meet for our Seniors so we had a special celebration honoring these great swimmers.
      The boys swim team won with a score of 79 to 7.  1st place finishers were:  200yd. Medley Relay - Tyler David, Henry Bezold, Cole  Bird & Derek Gelter; 200 yd. - Austin Berger; 200 yd. IM - Nick Flake; 50 yd. Free - Derek Gelter; 100 yd. Butterfly - Cole Bird; 100 yd. Free - Derek Gelter; 500 yd. Free - Tyler David; 200 yd. Free Relay - Nick Flake, Derek Gelter, Tyler David, & Cole  Bird; 100 yd. Backstroke - Austin Berger; 100 yd. Breaststroke - Henry Bezold; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Austin Berger, Nick Flake, Cole Bird, & Tyler David.  2nd place finishers were:Cody Biehle; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Jesse Noble, Noah David, Zachary Rolfes, & Henry  Bezold.  Great job boys!!!

     The girls swim team won with a score of 71 to 22.  1st finishers were:  200 yd. Medley Relay - Ashlee Lewis, Kara Burns, Jessica Nazareth & Megan Woolum; 200 yd. Free - Vicky Booker; 50 yd. Free - Jessica Nazareth; 100 yd. Butterfly - Ann Bishop; 100 yd. Free - Megan Woolum; 500 yd. Free - Kara Burns; 200 yd. Free Relay - Kara Burns, Ashlee Lewis, Jessica Nazareth, & Megan Woolum; 100 yd. Backstroke - Claire Burns; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Paige Anderson, Alicia Bailey, Jessica Nazareth, and Megan Woolum.  2nd place finishers were:  200 yd. Free - Kelsey Williams; 200 yd. IM - Paige Anderson; 100 yd. Butterfly - Alli Lutz; 100 yd. Free - Jessica Nazareth; 500 yd. Free - Vicky Booker; 100 yd. Backstroke - Alicia Bailey; 100 yd. Breaststroke - Kara Burns; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Vicky Booker, Emily Belmont, Kelsey Williams, and Claire Burns.

On Wednesday night, the young swimmers swam Norwood and won by a score of 80 - 0 for the boys.  1st & 2nd place finishers were:  200 yd. Medley Relay - Austin Berger, Cody Biehle, Nick Flake, Jesse Noble, 2nd place - Daniel Wilson, Stile Sweet, Zachary Rolfes, &  Coty Thompson; 200 yd. Free - Austin Berger & Coty Thompson; 200 yd. IM - Nick Flake & Cody Biehle; 50 yd. Free - Noah David & Nick Wuest; 100 yd. Butterfly - Zachary Rolfes; 100 yd. Free - Noah  David  & James Mahan; 500 yd. Free - Jesse Noble & Coty Thompson; 200 yd. Free - Cody Biehle, Noah David, Nick Flake, & Derek Gelter & 2nd place - James Mahan, Jesse Noble, Zachary Rolfes & Stile Sweet; 100 yd. Backstroke - Austin Berger & Daniel Wilson; 100 yd. Breaststroke - Cody Biehle & Stile Sweet; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Claire Burns, Elise Holdsworth, Grace Williams, & Kelsey Holdsworth.  2nd place finishers were:  200 yd. IM - Grace Williams; 100 yd. Butterfly - Grace Williams; 100 yd. Free - Claire Burns; 500 yd. Free - Elise Holdsworth; 100 yd. Breaststroke - Alli Lutz; and 400 yd. Free Relay - Zoe Crabtree, Rebecca Darland, Jasmine Thompson, & Megan Webster.  Great job swimmers!!!
