Lady Lions Back-to-Back Wins
Monday, Feb 1 Home vs Felicity: The lady lions basketball team defeated Felicity last night by score of 37-32. Early foul trouble prevented the girls from ever pulling away and needed big shots and clutch free throws to pull off the close win. The game was played at a slow pace because of the zone defense applied by Felicity which forced poor shooting from the girls who were 10/52 from the floor. Lindsey Blankenship hit two 3 point baskets in the 4th quarter to gain back some momentum and Courtney Grogan was 8/11 from the free throw line in clutch situations. Blankenship led New Richmond scorers with 10 points and added 11 rebounds while all 8 of Grogan's points came from the free throw line. Next @Milford Wednesday, Feb 3.
