The Lions skip school to attack the Trojans!
In a rare in-school dual the Lions wrestled Glen Este @ 1pm Friday. The Lions knew the battle was going to be fierce. GE is ranked in the top ten D1 wrestling teams this year.
The wrestling started @ 112 lbs with a GE win over N. Rostetter, then is was Skagzy's turn to show them what Lion wrestling is all about, handing the GE wrestler a loss! Anderson and Loyd kept it close but just fell a little short. Muse gave it his all but was a little over matched, Lemar was victorious in typical Lion fashion! Zawacki, Hoskins, Martin and Dixon battled tough but lost in the end. English was the shinning star of the day pinning his opponent early. Reid won a close one in the end! JR lost a triple overtime match that reminded me of Lions battling Trojans in the Roman Coliseum. Finally J. Hooks lost a close one. Final score GE 48 Lions 15. The Lions are at the Coaches Classic next Saturday and Sunday, WE ARE NR!
