Lion Linksters Continue Trek to the Top at S.B.A.A.C. #4
The Lion Linksters continued their dominance in the S.B.A.A.C. #4 by shooting a 176 to defeat runner-up Amelia (176) in a tiebreaker. Western Brown (193), Bethel (199), Goshen (220), and Norwood (224) rounded out the team scoring. The Lions were led by Chris Mazzaro with a 41 on the front nine at WhiteOak. Also scoring for the Lions were Evan McKinley (44), David Ohntrup (45), Bryce Kroeger and Kyle Heidlage (46) , and Austin Wells (47). The Lions play in the final S.B.A.A.C. on Saturday morning starting at 8:30 am at Cedar Trace.

• In doing this, a percentage of your total purchases benefit the New Richmond Lions Sports Foundation on an ongoing basis.
Please note: Registration of your Kroger card does not affect / diminish your fuel points!
Last month, NRLSF received a check for $1,065.33 from Kroger!
Right now, we only have 21 cards registered, so just think of the money we can earn with 300 families registered!
To date, this is by far the easiest and best way for NRLSF to earn money to support our athletic teams.

• Your printed confirmation is good for one free adult admission to the Homecoming football game! (please enter through the pass gate)
Follow these steps to register your Kroger card:
1. Go to www.kroger.com
2. Create Account (if you have an account, skip down to sign in)
3. Enter your email and password
4. Find your Kroger store: enter the zip code and choose store
5. Enter your Kroger Plus Card Number, your last name and zip code
6. Click to complete registration
7. Confirm your registration
Sign In:
1. Click on Community Rewards
2. Click Edit Community Rewards Program (at the bottom of the page)
3. Select your location (Cincinnati, OH)
4. Enter your personal information
5. Find our organization by searching: New Richmond Lions Sports Foundation.
6. Click New Richmond Lions Sports Foundation
7. Save
8. Print confirmation page for one free adult Homecoming football game admission

JV LADY LIONS VOLLEYBALL
The Lady Lions Volleyball team defeated Batavia last night 2 out of 3 games 25-19 and 25-20. Servers of the match were Ann Bishop with 8 consecutive serves, Ashlee Lewis with 5 aces and Jessica Nazareth 4 aces and Adrianna Flood with 4 aces. Ashlee Lewis also had 5 kills in the match along with Emily Leffler having 4 kills. Everyone did a great job to seal the victory especially Ann Bishop who had many saves throughout the entire match.

Boys Soccer Defeats Felicity
On a rainy evening The Lions played at Felicity on a wet natural surface. After a slow start in the first half the boys finished with an impressive second half and left with a 7-0 win.
Spikes for Spinnati
The volleyball team will be hosting a fundraising volleyball match called "Spikes for Spinnati" on Thursday, October 4th. We are pre-selling purple tie-dye shirts for the event, with profits going to a pancreatic cancer charity. All orders will be due this Friday, September 21st.

Varsity Volleyball Defeats Batavia
Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team on their victory over Batavia. The team's serving was lead by senior Jessica Mowery with 8 aces, who also lead the team with 4 blocks. Wendy Appelmann had 3 blocks and Eleanor Wildey had 10 digs and 13 kills. Tina Lawrence lead the team with 9 assists.

NRHS Cross Country Teams Run Well at the Milford Invitational
The New Richmond boys and girls cross country teams ran well at the Milford Invitational at Valley View Park this past Saturday. The girls cross country teams placed 8th and the boys team 9th. Top runners for the girls team included;

The cost is $10 and all of the money goes into a scholarship fund given to a senior girl and/or boy cross country runner at the end of the year. You can sign up on race day by the field house. Please be there by 8:45 am to register for the open race.
