Hard loss for Lady Lions Soccer

The girls varsity team suffered a tough loss to Norwood on Saturday with a final score of 5-0. The girls played very well the first half only allowing two unlucky goals, but the Indians managed to score three more in the second half. The team has a well needed break till Thursday when they will play Western Brown at home for Senior Night.

Lions defeat Northeastern, 40-7

Nick Williams ran for 102 yards and scored two touchdowns, Joey McCabe scored on a 26-yard pass reception and a 52-yard interception return to lead the Lions to a 40-7 win Friday over Clermont Northeastern.

Williams scored his TDs in the first quarter on a 10-yard run and a 10-yard TD recepiton from Derrick Dillow to put the Lions up 14-0 and that was all New Richmond's steller defense needed to turn back the Rockets.

The defense held CNE to only three first downs (two of which came on New Richmond penalties) and 43 yards total offense.
