Lion Golfers Knocked Off By The Rams
The Lion Golfers traveled to Potters Park in Hamilton on Thursday night for a match with the Division II District Qualifier , Hamilton Badin Rams. The Lion played well on a tough course , but came up alittle short in a 163-170 defeat. Senior Austin Skaggs was the Medalist for the match, firing a one over par 37 followed by Freshman Chris Mazzaro with a 40. Also scoring for the Lions were Henry Heidlage (44), Evan McKinley (48), Austin Wells (49), and David Ohntrup (53). The Lions will tee it up in the Division I Sectional Tournament held at Glenview Golf Course on Tuesday October 4th. The Lions record nows stands at 58-7 on the season.

JV Girls Soccer
The JV Lady Lions soccer team had a 2-0 loss against CHCA last night. The lions play at home Monday against Cincinnati Christian.
Tough Loss to CHCA
The girls varsity soccer team had a tough game last night against CHCA with a 2-1 loss. The very physical game ended with CHCA scoring from two direct kicks given to CHCA from penalties from outside the box. Scoring for the Lady Lions was Sarah Glenn, who launched a goal into the left-upper corner pocket in the second half. The girls will take a week break, playing their next game against Goshen on Tuesday, October 4th at 7pm.

Two Volleyball Wins for Homecoming Week!!
Last night the volleyball team defeated Clermont Northeastern to open up the second round of league play. The offense was lead by Eleanor Wildey and Sarah Shoemaker with 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Hannah Lang had 22 assists. The team's serving was lead by Sarah Shoemaker, Eleanor Wildey and Ann Bishop with 3 aces each. It was a great team effort by all.
Tonight the team defeated Clark Montessori in 5 games. Eleanor Wildey lead the team with 19 kills. Hannah Lang had 26 assists and 17 digs. Camie Keets lead the serving with 5 aces. Jessica Mowery had the team's only block. The lady lions don't play again until next Tuesday.

VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM HAS WON THEIR 3RD GAME IN A ROW, BEATING CNE 33-7 IN A VERY MUDDY BATTLE. THE OFFENSE IS CONTINUING TO BE LED BY NICK HILL WHO HAD 110 YARDS RUSHING AND 3 TD'S. DERRICK DILLOW ALSO RUSHED FOR OVER A 100 YARDS, AND HAD 1 TD. JAY GLUECK ALSO ADDED A TD.THE DEFENSE PLAYED A SOLID GAME, HOLDING CNE TO NEGATIVE YARDS OF TOTAL OFFENSE IN THE FIRST HALF. THIS WEEK THE LIONS TAKE ON A 4-1 BLANCHESTER TEAM THAT HAS SCORED:69, 35, 34, AND 35 POINTS IN THE LAST 4 WEEKS. THE TEAM MUST BE FOCUSED AND BE READY TO PLAY.

The girls varsity soccer team had a 1-1 tie with Western Brown last night. Scoring for the Lady Lions was Bethany Smith with an assist by Emily Barcheski. The girls look to take on CHCA Tuesday, September 27th at 7pm.

Boys soccer defeats Western Brown
The first half was played to a 0-0 tie. Well into the second half Kevin Reid scored on a well placed ball from the right wingers position. The Broncos tied it on a penalty kick from their 20. With the score tied the Lions remained determined and scored the go ahead goal on a Tyler Klein penalty kick and held on to the 2-1 victory to remain in the hunt for a league title.
