Austin Warden pitched a 3-hit shutout and went 2-for-3 to lead the Lions to a 13-0 win over Amelia. Warden threw only 56 pitches in the 5-inning game.
Steven Binder went 3-for-3 for the Lions who improved to 13-4 overall.

NRHS Boy's Tennis Team Defeats Amelia 3 - 2
The NRHS boy's tennis team defeated Amelia last night 3 - 2. Winners for the lions included;
3rd Singles: Zach Manning
1st Doubles: Nick Goocey/Clint Lytle
2nd Doubles: Mitch Kramer/Kyle Reid
With the win the lions improve to 8 - 3 on the season. The boy's varsity tennis team will be participating in the Coach's Classic today and Saturday. The singles portion for our flight will be at Fairfield H.S. and the doubles portion at Winton Woods H.S. The tournament will start at around 3:00 pm today. The JV team will be participating in the Western Brown Invitational on Friday and Saturday. This will be held at Western Brown H.S. This tournament will also start around 3:00 pm on Friday.

110 High Hurdles Record broken
John Berwanger broke the school's 110 High Hurdles record on April 16th at the Glen Este meet. The record was held by Rob Wells with a time of 15.1 and John Berwanger broke it running a 14.8 time last Friday.

The Lady Lions defeat Georgetown
The Varsity Lady Lions defeated Georgetown last night 8-4. Amanda Schmidt took the win on the mound with 9 strike outs. Leading the offense was Amanda Schmidt with two doubles and an RBI and Sarah Abellainda with a triple and 3 RBI’s. Brandy Riley, Nicole Leen, and Kaitlyn Davis all made great defense plays as well. The Lions take on Felicity tonight at home.

The Varsity Lady Lions defeat Blanchester
The Varsity Lady Lions defeated Blanchester last night 6-2. Leading the offense was Kaitlyn Davis with two singles and a triple and Amanda Schmidt with two singles and a double. Kallie Long took the win on the mound with 7 strike outs. The Lady Lions play a make-up game tonight against Georgetown tonight at home. Go Lions!
