Lion Linksters in command in SBAAC golf

Phil Heflin's New Richmond High School golf team has a commanding 18-stroke lead after two rounds of the 2013 Southern Buckeye Conference Golf Championship and Junior Chris Mazzaro enjoys a 10-stroke lead in the individual standings. The SBAAC tourney concludes with rounds Sept. 11 at Friendly Meadows, Sept. 19 at White Oak and the 18-hole final Sept. 21 at Cedar Trace.

Boys Soccer Travels to Amelia

Boys Soccer traveled to Amelia Wednesday evening to take on The Barons in league play.
JV started the day off with a 2-0 win and followed by the varsity team. While playing a man down the boys rallied to post a1-0 win.
Both teams are right back at it on Thursday playing Bethel in a league match.

Baseball staff offers BP Sundays for 7th-8th graders

Baseball Program
New Richmond High School Baseball is excited to offer an opportunity to 7`h and 8`h grade baseball players in the New Richmond School District. "BP" is short for batting practice, and the New Richmond Coaching Staff is inviting any interested player to attend.
Players will:
·         Hit batting practice thrown by the NRHS high school coaches for 6 weeks
·         Learn how the New Richmond High School Baseball Lions conduct their BP sessions
·         Be on the Lions home field, one of the very nicest in the Cincinnati area
·         Have the opportunity to meet and work with the NRHS coaching staff
·         Be given both live pitches and soft-toss in front of the NRHS coaches
·         Get a chance to show off and sharpen their defensive skills each week while others are hitting
·         Be a part of some "BP" games that the Lions use each year
·         Have the opportunity to receive coaching from the high school staff to improve their skills
·         Get outdoor swings and reps in before the weather turns
In order to make this productive for all, the minimum number of participants will be 15 and the maximum number of participants will be 25. Registrations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. The dates and times of BP Sundays are below. In order to register, please contact Brian Benzinger at the e-mail below to secure your spot. The cost is $30 per participant.

Lion Linksters Extinguish Rockets and Knockoff the Blue Devils

The Lion Linksters played a tri-match against C.N.E. and Reading last night at Cedar Trace Golf Course last evening and swept both teams by the score of 175-204-226. Leading the Lions in scroring was medalist Chris Mazzaro with a one over par 36. This was Mazzaro's 6th time being medalist in a match this season. Junior Kyle Heidlage was not far behind firing a solid 40 for the Lions. Also scoring and playing well for the Lions was Bryce Kroeger (44), Daman Abner (55), Chase Heflin (64) and Zack Grissom (68). The Lions start defense of their League title tonight at Deertrack Golf Course at 4:00. The Lions record now stands at 6-4 on the season.

New Richmond Girls Cross Country Team Places 1st, Boys Team 5th at the Western Brown Invitational Last Night

The New Richmond girls cross country team placed 1st and boys team 5th at the Western Brown Invitational yesterday.  Top runners for the boys included;
