Lady Lions Take Down Norwood

The Varsity Lady Lions Basketball team defeated Norwood last night 51-44. Norwood was 16-2 coming into the game having lost only to Western Brown this season. Josie Buckingham was dominant recording her 3rd career triple-double, scoring 30 points, grabbing 23 rebounds, and blocking 17 shots. Maren Hance was dynamic in the open floor while scoring 5 points and dishing 8 assists. Tina Lawrence was instrumental on defense and also added 6 points and 5 rebounds. The win improves their record to 12-6 on the season and give the girls much needed momentum going into tournament season.
