LADY LIONS VARSITY VOLLEYBALL

Congratulations to the Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball team on defeating Goshen last night at the Volley4cure match 3 out of 4 games; 20-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-19. The team fought hard to secure the victory; Katie Schumacher and Lindsey Blankenship had 9 kills along with Brittney Strunk who also had 10 blocks followed by Briana Rose with 4 kills and 5 blocks. Myla Gordo had 36 digs in the back court passing up to Mercedes Featherkile who in-turn set our hitters. Ashley Strunk and Sarah Shoemaker were our servers of the evening; Ashley had 15 serves with 2 aces and Sarah had 18 serves with 1 ace. Goshen is a good team and the lady lions pulled together to show what they can do.
