Lady Lions soccer shut out the Rockets of CNE!

The girls varsity soccer team came out ready to win, and did! The team played a hard 80 minutes of soccer and it showed with a final score of 2-0. Scoring for the Lions was Cassie Grooms and Noelle Schickling with an assist from Cassie Grooms. The defense played a tough flat-back-four formation which helped Cassidy Martin to earn her 4th shut out of the season. The team's record has jumped to 9-4-1, keeping them in first-place in the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division. The Lady Lions take on Bethel next Tuesday at 7:00!
