Lady Lions Finish Season vs Wyoming

The Lady Lions Girls Basketball team finished their tournament run Saturday in a loss in the Sectional Finals vs Wyoming. After two big wins in the Div II tournament the Lady Lions failed to handle the pressure applied by the quick Wyoming squad and had trouble containing Div II Player of the Year Nikki McKee. Top performers for New Richmond were Josie Buckingham who scored 20 points and collected 12 rebounds while Mikaela Rupp added 9 points. The girls finished the season 12-11 overall and achieved several long term goals making the season a success. Thanks to all who supported the 2010-11 NR Girls Basketball Teams.
