Big Win For Lady Lions

Thursday, Feb 18, 2010 Home vs Amelia: The Lady Lions got a big win and played their best game of the season last night vs Amelia. After trailing by double digits most of the first half and by 11 at the half, the girls came back strong in the second half to win 55-50. Lindsey Blankenship led the second half charge scoring a season-high 21. After sitting the entire 1st half after tweaking her knee, Reno Frayne scored all 10 of her points in the second half to boost the lions. Mikaela Rupp and Georgia Buckingham also were key contributers scoring 8 and 7 respectively. This win gives the lady lions two more wins than last season and gives them some momentum moving in to tournaments and next season.
