Lady Lion's Varsity Volleyball Team Attacks Ripley.
The volleyball team's record stands at 1-1 at the end of the season opening tri-match. After falling to CNE in the first match of the day, the girls pulled together and rallied to come out strong against Ripley. The team's serving was started by Rachael Riffle who had 6 aces in 19 attempts. After several different players in the back row (Rachael Riffle, Cortney Smith, Eleanor Wildey, Rachel Zawacki, Jessica Nazareth, and Wendy Appelmann) had multiple digs, the offense was lead by Eleanor Wildey with 7 kills. Kandice Miller had the team's only block. Everyone contributed to the successful team victory. Monday the girls go on the road to take on Georgetown.
