It was a great weekend of swimming for the New Richnmond swimmers. Alex Ariapad is the 4th swimmer from New Richmond to make it back to the finals in the 29 years that they have held the Swim Classic. He was successful in the 50yd. Butterfly with a time of 26.65 and improved his time Sunday night with a time of 26.57. There were 3300 swimmers competing at 8 different sites and the top 16 best times swam in the finals at Keating Natatorium. It is the largest swim meet held in the United States. Eight other New Richmond swimmers competed on Saturday and Sunday and did a great job improving their times.
