Lady Lions WIn at Batavia

The Lady Lions Girls Basketball team defeated Batavia last night by a score of 55-32 to improve their record to 7-0 on the season. Sophomores Josie Buckingham and Bailey Workman led the team offensively scoring 15 and 14 respectively. Mikaela Rupp added 11 points including 2 key 3 pointers during a key 3rd quarter that saw the Lady Lions expand its lead from 10 to 23. Sarah Shoemaker added 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 assists. The game is the last of 2011 for the Lady Lions who play next vs Madeira after the Christmas Holiday break.
