JV LADY LIONS SOFTBALL

Congratulations to the JV Lady Lions Softball Team on giving Western Brown their first lost of the season 8-6. The team came out strong in the first 2 innings of the game securing 6 runs by hard hit singles from Michaela Nordyke, Nikki Brittain, Bailey Deweese and batted in by Morgan Powers with a double and Jae Mosley. The outfielders Jessica Mowery, Hannah Murphy and Rachel Zawacki were put to the challenge and did a fantastic job keeping Western Brown from scoring. A great job was done by all defensively especially Riley Deweese who protected first base. The Lady Lions are now 7-2 in the league.
