1ST ANNUAL NEW RICHMOND SWIM TEAM ALUMNI EVENT

On Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, the 1st Annual Swimming Alumni Event was held. It was a great time for all the returning swimmers from the past to come and join us at the pool. Mike Ritzman and Rick Mahan were two of the oldest returning swimmers that showed up and they were with the program back in the 1980's. Susan Davis came and participated and she swam in the early 2000's. Of course we had some of the recent graduates show up to have fun with the High School and Middle School swimmers. Mark Miller and Alex Lewis were responsible for getting the event started. They did all the publicity and invitations through face book and word of mouth. They also planned the goofy activities that the swimmers participated in for the evening. Great job young men. We are taking donations for a new score board in the pool area and this helped to raise some money for that project. Joe and I would like to thank everyone who made the evening a fun and enjoyable time for our former swimmers from New Richmond. We hope to have more alumni show up next year.
Next home swim meet is on Thursday, Jan. 6 against Greenfield McClain.
