Steven Binder went the distance and Tre Jetter came up with a defensive gem to halt a Bethel rally as the Lions came back from a 4-0 deficit to win 8-4 in the final SBAAC game of the season.
With the Lions leading 5-4, Jetter made a diving stop toward second base, flipped the ball back handed to shortstop Kevin Hamilton who completed the double play with the throw to first.
The win improved the Lions to 15-7 going into Saturday's doubleheader at Edgewood. The Lions then play at Seven Hills on Monday before returning home to host the winner of Wyoming-Finneytown in the Division II sectional at 5 p.m. May 15.
