The New Richmond High School Volleyball team will hold its annual Volley for the Cure Monday, October 5, during homecoming week to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.
In 2007 the New Richmond volleyball teams raised nearly $425 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and in 2008 this amount increased to over $525. The volleyball teams would like to make this a community wide event and raise even more money this year. We applaud these girls for “Making a Difference” through their sport.
The Lady Lions play Goshen October 5th with the JV game starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.
The volleyball players would also like to invite everyone to the match so we can “Pack the Stands.” Admission is only $1 for anyone wearing a Volley for the Cure shirt.
Volley for the cure shirts are available through noon Wednesday, Sept. 16. Shirt types are listed below. Make checks payable to New Richmond High School and turn your order in to Carla Corbin at the high school.
